Work continues on the construction of both male and female dormitory blocks for the secondary school. Work on the girl’s block is now at 1st floor level where the walls are at full height awaiting the construction of the 2nd floor slab. The boy’s dormitory block has been constructed as far as the 1st floor concrete slab level. Finishing trades will now complete the ground floor and the party heading over in July will set about painting both blocks.
Two new wells have been drilled. Both are approximately 70 metres deep and provide a good flow of water. One of the new wells is pictured to the left. Below you will find a letter of appreciation written by some of the children who are now benefiting from the new well being operational (even if one of them is only benefiting by having a new “swing”).
Please pray for the wells to be a continued source of fresh water for the pupils and staff.
